I know this is supposed to be a blog entry, but allow me to advertise my output for our final project in Informatics. We were required to make our very personalized site, customize everything, post something health-related or a disease/disorder about anything we want and just simply make it look presentable. Some says 'Google sites', the required base site we had to work with, isn't too user-friendly. This is quite true because it's sort of new to many but there are some flexible features of this thing too. Such as drop-down lists to customize your site easier and yada yada.
My topic was ADHD. I actually have no specific reason why I chose this disorder. What helped me stick with this idea was the fact that I can include to my site some famous personalities who has ADHD and under the signs and symptoms topic, I can post animated GIF images that shows some hyper-looking kids who are uber major cuteness. I guess I picked the right disorder. :3 We were also obliged to make a class portal where the whole class' sites are being posted. Leodel spearheaded the making of the portal and thank God, it's done. To give you a small spoiler, the portal is The Avengers-inspired. We came up with our own superhero names and superpowers -- and this is where all the fun comes in. My classmates are just the bestest. I find it really amusing to read all their work. To further get what I mean, check out our class niche. And here's my finished product. Sorry if I'm not so good with this crap but hey, at least I tried. ;)
